Our Devon adventure centre will be running our popular week-long Adventure Holidays for the School Holidays this summer (Saturday 19th July to Saturday 30th August 2014).

Price: £369 (Adults), £295.20 (Under 14)

What's included in a Family Adventure Holidays?

Accommodation, Catering and Activities:

Accommodation: Based at either the Goods Shed or our Bracken Tor site, on the edge of Dartmoor you will be given a private Family Bunk Room. En-suite Rooms are available for an additional £4.50 per night.


Activities: 3 full days of activities and 6 evening activities included. Try out different activities including watersports day (kayaking, canoeing, raft-building), and 4 taster session from high ropes, archery, rock-climbing, gorge-scrambling and either Pony-Trekking or The Big Oke abseil (over 12). Evening activities include quizzes, night-walks, campfire.

Catering: Buffet style hot and cold breakfasts, packed lunch, Family evening meal normally available between 5.30pm - 8pm. The Youth Hostel has a full alcohol licence allowing drinks to be served with your meal or during the evening.

Extra activity sessions can be added to the package: popular extras include Mountain Boarding, Cycle Hire and for those wanting to go further afield Surfing Day (own transport required), Family Rock Day, Family Paddle Expedition.

Guidance on Age limits for Activities: The age limit for most activities is 5, some activities (Mountain Boarding, High Ropes) the age limit is usually 8, and Big Oke Abseil only open to those over 14.  In the main the limitation is whether the safety equipment will fit and whether the stature of the child will allow them to safely participate.

On a Budget? Save on accommodation prices by booking a camping version!  Bring your own tent and camp, but still get all food and adventure activities for £247 adults and £197.60 (under 14's).
